Dom de Chevalier rouge 2003 : 16,5 (J.R. .com)
Mid garnet. Sweet and red-fruited. As Sebastian Payne MW (bordeaux buyer at the Wine Society for many years) says, put it in a burgundy bottle and everyone would love it. Just a touch of cigar box and cedar freshness to suggest a Cabernet influence. Generous and rounded on the palate, The red fruit lovely and deeply present. Fully resolved and ready now. Don’t wait. Domaine de Chevalier 2003 : 92 (J.S.)
I am loving the nose of white peaches, plums, and milk chocolate. So yummy. Full and juicy, with velvety tannins and a lovely freshness. Really charming, friendly, and enjoyable, but will still improve with age. Pull the cork after 2013. Score 92.
